Really steep hills and a wonderful day

Overview

My wife and I had an excellent day at the zoo. The staff were incredibly friendly! I must provide a warning for wheelchair and powerchair users, there are incredibly steep hills in the zoo. They have an electric wheelchair accessible vehicle but you do have to go down the hill. They tell you that the best way but even in my powerchair it was a struggle. The best way is to reverse if you can, I felt like I was tipping otherwise! The great news is that there are so many beautiful creatures to see and accessible viewing platforms. We had lovely weather and took a picnic. The zoo has no problem with you taking your own food, they also have plenty of places to eat.
