East Riding Leisure Haltemprice is a large sports facility with a 25m Swimming pool with a movable floor, a small teaching pool, 2 x Sports Halls, 3 x Squash Courts, Meeting rooms, Creche, 2 x 5-a-side 3G pitches, 100 station fitness suite, Spinning studio, Café. Also located on site is Anlaby Library and Customer Services Centre and Anlaby Dr's Surgery. Large amount of free parking, including 11 disabled parking bays, ramped access to the entrance of the facility. The Main swimming pool has a hoist so those with disabilities can use this facility. Several Disability Spots clubs use the venue for their activities, information can be provided on these. The facility also manages the grass pitches in Anlaby and Hessle. Access dogs are welcome on site but if you are participating in an activity they will be placed in a dog cage in the general admin office. Located on the site as well is a skate park, out door play park and Haltemprice Bowling Club.
Accessibility
We have ramped access to the main entrance, with automatic doors. Ground floor is all level with a lino type flooring throughout. Access to the Fitness suite is via a card swipe door access system, there is a disabled toilet within the fitness suite area and also a platform lift as there is 2 steps to go up/down as well. A secondary entrance also has automatic doors (from the outside in) but to exit the inner one is push button. There is a large amount of various seating both in door and out door for the café and staff provide a table service once food is ordered from the counter. This area also provides viewing over the swimming pools. Access to the library is via an automatic door. There is a passenger lift to the first floor (used by the able bodied and disabled). This will be needed to access the fitness suite, a meeting room, sports hall and squash viewing areas. Toilets
We have accessible toilets and changing rooms with hoists and in toilets/changing areas on the lower floor.
Staff
Staff have no specific training although we have been trained by the NDCS to deliver Deaf Friendly Swimming Lessons. Through this we now have a number of deaf children incorporated into our swimming lessons

We will be happy to provide bowls of water on request. If participating in an activity on site then the dog will be placed in a dog cage which is located in the general administration office for the duration of the time you are in the activity.
