Venue Description
We are one of the country's oldest museums with an amazingly varied collection to discover. The museum is a treasure house of the region's stories, packed with archaeology, natural history, geology and local history.
Accessibility
We have level access to the ground floor of the museum. The front double doors open by a push pad. There is a standard lift, (not platform type), to the first floor.

Toilets
We have an accessible toilet with door wide enough for manual and electric wheelchair. There are grab rails and an alarm cord hanging correctly. The locks and taps are easy turn.

Our regular front of house staff have been trained in accessible welcome and deafness awareness.
