Dawyck Botanic Garden is home to one of Scotland's finest tree collections including some of Britain's oldest and tallest trees. The 65-acre Garden offers woodland and burnside walks and is renowned for its seasonal displays of snowdrops, bluebells, rhododendrons, azaleas, Himalayan blue poppies and autumn colour. Come and discover treasures from Nepal, China and more. Learn about plant explorers such as David Douglas, after whom the Douglas fir is named. Ideal for all the family. The five star award-winning Garden welcomes all visitors and aims to provide the best possible access to everyone in order that they enjoy their visit to our Garden whether it is for a walk, a guided tour, an event or exhibition or to visit the cafe. We provide: Accessible toilets in our visitor centre and wheelchairs for visitors to use. It is advisable to contact the Garden to book a wheelchair prior to your visit.
Accessibility
Entry from car parking area to Visitor Centre is via steps or wide ramp. Wide automatic doors provide access to the Visitor Centre and out into the Garden. There are toilet facilities for the disabled. We provide drinking water for assistance dogs.

Five Star Garden as accredited by VisitScotland and holder of Green Tourism award (silver). Dawyck Cafe holds a Taste Our Best award from VisitScotland in recognition of the high qualiity oflocal produce on its menu. The cafe has ample room to accommodate wheelchairs.
