Small but interesting

Overview
We stopped over on the way to some beautiful waterfalls nearby, but we didn't visit all the museum itself, although it looks quite interesting and well cared for.
Transport & Parking
We went there by car; the museum opens onto a large car park with two disabled bays about 10 yards from the entrance. There's flat tarmacked access to the main entrance, with a couple of benches to rest on.
Access
The entrance has no steps but the doors are a bit heavy to push; inside the spaces are good and there are ramps to the different levels. However, the carpeting may not suit everyone using a wheelchair; the lighting inside is quite dim and people with visual impairments could find it a bit of a problem. Three is a good souvenir shop and refreshments.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet next to the car park, a few yards from the dedicated disabled bays; it is large enough for a standard wheelchair and a carer.
Staff
Very nice and helpful gentleman at the ticket office, who gave us lots of useful information.
