Come and visit our fascinating local museum located in the seaside town of North Berwick in East Lothian, Scotland. We’re run entirely by enthusiastic volunteers and our aim is to enable locals and visitors to explore the culture and heritage of the coastal communities that make up East Lothian’s North Berwick Coastal Ward. It’s free to enter (donations appreciated), you’ll get a warm friendly welcome and there’s lots to discover for all ages. Our museum comprises four large spacious rooms on the upper floor of a large Victorian detached building in central North Berwick. We plan our exhibitions and spaces carefully to allow for ease of use and access for all visitors.Accessibility
The main building entrance has automatic doors with level access. There is a lift to the first floor where the museum is located. The museum entrance on the first floor has level access to all areas of the museum.

Toilets
There is a Changing Places toilet on the ground floor of the building next to the library entrance. There are adult changing facilities and baby changing facilities available. There is level access from the main building front door to the Changing Places toilet. On the first floor next to the museum there is an accessible toilet, male toilets and female toilets. These have level access from the museum entrance and also the lift.
Staff
All our staff our volunteers who are eager to help in any way they can. They will greet you as you enter the museum and explain the layout of the rooms and any new exhibits.

We are located on School Road, North Berwick EH39 4JU. We are equally distanced from the Lodge Grounds to the south and North Berwick East Beach to the north. Both open spaces are approximately a 5 minute walk from the museum and allow dogs and assistance dogs.
