Chickenshed is a company that makes beautiful and inspirational theatre working on the basis that everyone and anyone should be included. We bring together people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to produce outstanding theatre that entertains, inspires, challenges and informs both audiences and participants alike. Our vision is a society that celebrates diversity and enables every individual to flourish.

Awards List

Chickenshed has had enormous success since its formation 40yrs ago. Performance include: G8 Summit at Gleneagles; Queen’s Golden Jubilee; Edinburgh Festival; Royal Albert Hall; Royal Opera House; 10 Downing Street; Royal Lyceum Theatre, West End venues and theatres around the UK. TV appearances.

Toilets

All our facilities are fully accessible. We have no steps. We have grab rails in our fully accessible toilets

Staff

Chickenshed's venue staff are trained to deal with all our guests. We can provide large print or audio versions of our brochures. We have sign language trained staff and provide access performances. We run a Children's and Youth Theatre for 800 young people, operate three nationally accredited education courses, engage in community outreach projects and have established a growing network of 'Sheds' across the UK and two in Russia.
