The Cheshire Military Museum, in Chester, tells the story of the Cheshire Soldiers from the 17th Century right through to the present day. The museum also houses the Archive of the Cheshire Regiment.
Accessibility
The galleries are located on the ground floor of the building and the archives on the first floor. Access to "The War Horse" is through the Barrack Yard. Visitors should be aware that the museum is in an old building and the floor is uneven in places. A lift is available to the first floor for access to the Archive. At the entrance there is steps, a ramp can be provided for wheelchair users. All areas of the museum are accessible to wheelchair users. Staff are available to assist, please ask if you require help.
