Venue Description

Part of Clyde Muirshiel, Scotland's Largest Regional Park, Castle Semple is an Outdoor Activities Centre & Country Park offering recreation for all, just 40 minutes from Glasgow. Castle Semple is leading the way for sailability in Scotland & was awarded the Centre of Excellence status in 2012. The Centre also provides experienced staff, kayaking, canoeing, rafting & multiple land based activities. There are wonderful lochshore walks & plenty of wildlife to see in the Park's Parkhill Wood. Why not make a day of it & enjoy a walk plus a coffee or even an ice cream at the lochside cafe!

Accessibility

Castle Semple has ramps into the main Visitor Centre & Cafe, a short level distance away from the car park area. There is also access to the loch and watersports via the Centre's pontoon hoist although please contact the Centre to arrange availablility.

Toilets

Step free access to all disabled toilets on site. The cubicles have doors of a generous width and hand rails for support installed.

Staff

Our outdoor activities staff are very experienced in aiding clients with disabilities to access the water.
