Accessibility

Both boats have a hydraulic passenger lift specifically designed to allow for wheelchair access to the cabin of the boat. The cabin is step free

Toilets

Each boat has a step free toilet suitable for our users. On Heulwen III the toilet has step free access to a curtained off area, with a a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench and adequate space in the changing area for the disabled person and two carers. The toilet has plenty of room on one side with less room on the other side. Non slip floor

Staff

All our boatmen are qualified to drive the boats and are very experienced in helping people in wheel chairs to board the boats. Our cabins are adapted for wheelchair use. They are step free and have non slip floors. During the trip the boatmen will be engaged in driving the boat so please ensure you are accompanied by the appropriate carers .
