Venue Description
We are a small local museum with a 200-year-old windmill, sharing the unique story of Burwell with our visitors.Accessibility
Our site is mostly on grass, with fairly level access to most buildings. We have ramps available on request for the entrance kiosk, tea room and vintage clothing gallery where there is a step into the room. Three of our galleries have upstairs areas with stairlifts but not lifts due to the nature of the buildings. Access to the upper floors of the windmill is by ladder but there is a film on the ground floor which shows the whole mill.
Toilets
Our toilets are on site with step-free access and have grab rails and easy turn taps.
