Overview

This is a fantastic exhibition and a must visit for any music or pop music fans the exhibition is being held in the Cunard Building and is right on the water front in Liverpool in fact this is one of the 3 famous building next to each other and are part of a World Heritage site. The exhibition is being held on the ground floor of the venue and covers music from the 1940s till about 2010 and has a number of original stage outfits and musical instruments on display. There is also a show area that shows a film about the history of music as well as showing holograms of pop stars singing etc.

Transport & Parking

3

There is some Blue badge parking available in the area a number of the local buses and the city tour buses all pick up and drop of in front of the building the nearest train station is the St James St Interchange about 15mins away

Access

4

This exhibitions is being held in a building list A in a World Heritage site that has a number of steps at the door they do however have fantastic access via a ramp about half way down Brunswick St this is to the left hand side of the building if you have the river to you back. Once at the ramp you use the intercom to contact the staff in the exhibition they will open the door and instruct you to take the lift up 1 level the lift is easy to find once inside. There will be a member of staff waiting for you when you come out of the lift to get you through to the ticket desk etc. This gives you a bit of a peak at what to expect as you enter from the back of the exhibition To leave the venue staff will take you back out to the lift and the ramp its self

Toilets

4

There are two accessible toilets one in the exhibition area the other in the Star Café area, we looked at the one in the exabition area it was a good size door opened outwards rails on both sides and room for a care giver if required

Staff

5

From the minute we meet the staff at the lift they were very helpful and friendly and talked away to us very happily the staff will also let you know when the show or holograms are going to be on and will do what they can to assist you during your visit .

Anything else you wish to tell us?

There is a range of ticket prices however you are given a paper band to ware on your wrist to show you have paid etc. this also lets you go out of the venue and come back in if you want as long as it is the same day
