Overview
We brought a group of older people with learning disabilities to a matinee performance of the Ice Show. Prior to our visit we arranged to carry out a risk assessment of the venue and the member of staff who showed us around was extremely helpful. On the day of our visit the staff made our group very welcome, they took orders for ice creams and delivered them to our seats during the interval. All the staff were friendly and helpful and this contributed to the success of our visit. Thank you.
Transport & Parking
We arrived by minibus and although there was no allocated disabled parking nearby we were able to pull in and drop our group off at the back entrance of the venue.
Access
We were advised to drop our group off at the rear entrance of the venue. There was a lift available although most of our group were able to manage the small flight of stairs.
Toilets
The toilet facilities were fine for our group.
Staff
The staff were very helpful and friendly. They took our order for ice creams and delivered them to our seats during the interval.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
At the end of the show we were able to have photographs taken with some of the ice dancers who were very patient while we assembled our group.
