Venue Description
The Brighton Centre is a multi-purpose auditorium in the centre of Brighton, and is one of the largest purpose built events venue on the South Coast of England. We offer a warm welcome to everyone and aim to offer an excellent level of service to all our customers. We have accessible toilets and lifts; Box Office, Information Desk and bars with low level counters and induction loops; Staff who have undertaken accessibility awareness training; Accessible viewing platforms for wheelchair users; Free ticket for a Personal Assistant (subject to availability); Dedicated Access Line for enquiries about accessible seating; A Bronze Award from “Attitude is Everything”.
Accessibility
The whole venue is accessible to people with disabilities, with step free access, accessible toilets and lifts. Our Box Office, Information Desk and bars have low level counters and induction loops. All our frontline staff have undertaken accessibility awareness training. Accessible viewing platforms are available for wheelchair users. Free tickets are available for a Personal Assistant (subject to availability). We have a dedicated Access Line for enquiries about accessible seating. We currently hold a Bronze Award from “Attitude is Everything” and are working with them to attain the Gold Standard in Autumn 2015. By September we will have a Changing Place toilet available for customers. There is an access statement available to download via the venue's website. This is available in word or pdf format, and we can arrange for it to be made available on audio, in Braille and in large font on request. An easy read version is planned for later this year.

We do not normally offer relaxed or signed performances unless these are organised by the event promoter.

Staff
We have a very experienced team of House and Event Managers who will do all they can to ensure you enjoy your visit. All frontline staff including Box Office, steward and show control have received accessibility training.

Assistance dogs are welcome at all performances at the venue, and can either accompany customers to their seats, or our Security staff will happily look after your dog while you enjoy the performance. There are no exercise or toiletting facilities avaialble.
