Venue Description

Bright Now Cafe is a friendly community cafe inside the Brighthelm Church and Community Centre. We are open 8.30-4pm Monday to Friday and offer a wide range of lunch options, coffee and of course delicious, freshly made cake. Within Brighthelm we have a range of meeting rooms and venue spaces, from smaller meeting rooms to a larger auditorium, all available for hire. As a result of our space, many community groups host a wide range of events and activities in our space, check our website for more information.

Accessibility

We have 2 entrances, both are level entry and have pad operated automatically opening doors. The cafe is spacious with space between tables and natural light. The counter is low level, and menus are on each table. The menu is available large print on request. We have one accessible toilet next to the cafe, with others on other floors. One member of Brighthelm staff is trained in British Sign Language, she is situated in the front reception office.

All toilets are step free access, we have lever handle doors and rails within the toilet, the toilet floor space is large enough to turn.

Staff

Katie Love, Marketing Manager is trained to level 2 BSL and is happy to assist. We have a wide range of spoken languages available, such as italian and german.
