The Brangwyn is located just minutes away from the beautiful sweep of Swansea Bay. We host events from small meetings to major conferences and weddings from the intimate to the grand. The hall has excellent acoustics and regularly hosts internationally acclaimed orchestras and some of the biggest names in contemporary music. With professional event planning expertise on hand, combined with the striking architecture of the building, the Brangwyn is the ideal venue for events, conferences, weddings, dinners and functions. Sir Frank Brangwyn, R.A. (1867 – 1956) is celebrated as one of Britain’s most prolific and versatile artists. His work is internationally acclaimed and the huge British Empire Panels in Swansea are amongst the most important examples of his decorative work on a large scale. The Hall at the Guildhall, Swansea is renowned as a major concert hall, conference and reception centre, servicing the Principality and beyond, is enhanced by these unique magnificent Brangwyn panels.
