Venue Description
The Birnam Arts Centre is a delightful multi-purpose arts, conferencing and entertainment venue encompassing the fantastic Foyer Cafe, Potter's Junction Gift Shop and the Beatrix Potter Exhibition. Birnam Arts is a community owned and run facility with charitable status. Being a not for profit organisation means that any profit made from our areas of business such as our cafe, shop or conference business goes back in to our arts and community programme and helps us to hire out our facilities to local community groups and individuals at a reduced rate.
Accessibility
The entrance is accessible up a gentle slope. Our main door is pressure pad operated from either side. We have a standard lift between floors. We are located adjacent to the Beatrix Potter Garden - there is access to the garden from our Potter's Junction gift shop but unfortunately this is steps and not wheelchair accessible. The Garden is however wheelchair accessible to the general public from the pavement. The centre encompasses The Beatrix Potter Exhibition which is accessible via an access ramp.

Accessible Performances
We don't have a specified disabled area for viewing performances as the hall is multi-use and the seating is not permanent - we are always happy to reserve & clear spaces for wheelchair/disabled users. Our upstairs balcony area which has 36 seats is wheelchair accesible.
