Overview
Beautiful building which shows other older buildings what can be done!
Transport & Parking
There are two disabled spaces just near the theatre on the corner outside the Back to Back museum, with payable parking on the street parking next to it as well. If these spaces are full, there there is parking in the Arcadian near by - a one minute walk according to Google Maps.
Access
The entrance is spacious with seats throughout. The theatre itself is accessed via a lift or stairs for the stalls (downstairs from the foyer) and circle (upstairs). There are two lifts which are large enough for a mobility scooter. One was broken on the day of our visit but the theatre had contacted us the day before to let us know - a very welcome first for us! The actual theatre (we were in the stalls) is sloped which needed a little careful navigating, but we were fine once my husband found his balance.
Toilets
Accessible toilets on all floors were large, well lit and clean.
Staff
From the first call to book a carers ticket and advice given on seating to the staff we met on the day, all were helpful and friendly.
