Barton Grange Garden Centre
Garstang Road, Preston, PR3 0BT, United Kingdom | 01995 642900 | WebsiteVenue Description
A family-run business with its heart in Lancashire. Barton Grange Garden Centre opened its doors in March 2008, with an official launch later conducted by HRH Princess Anne. From the very first day, our green ethos has been at the heart of everything we do and we strive to be environmentally friendly in all areas of the business. We are also passionate about customer care and service. Ours is an independent, family-run company built on strong traditional values. We love to support our local suppliers and are proud to stock Lancashire’s finest produce. Our staff are a loyal bunch – many have been with us since day one. They are all trained to be experts in their fields and love to share their knowledge and advice with customers.Accessibility
With the exception of one small part of decking outside The Riverside Cafe, the garden centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users. We offer dedicated disabled parking, toilet facilities at the main entrance and in the restaurants, and free hire of wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Please click here to read our guide for customers with disabilities and mobility problems. Car parking for disabled and less able customers is found at the front of the garden centre and to the right of the main pathway which leads to the entrance. Parent and child parking is located to the left of the path. Please look out for the signs in the car park. Once inside the garden centre, you’ll find disabled toilet facilities in the main entrance and further disabled toilets in the restaurant area. With the exception of one small part of decking outside the café, the garden centre has no steps, so customers in wheelchairs and with pushchairs can visit all areas with ease. We created wide aisles throughout all departments to assist movement though the centre. There are plenty of wheelchairs available for hire at the customer service desk in our main reception. Please check availability on arrival. We also have a limited supply of mobility scooters available. If you would like to hire one of our mobility scooters please bring along one of the following: Your driver’s licence. Your bus pass. Your Blue Badge. A letter with your home address on it and a card with your signature on. Our mobility scooters are kindly supplied by the Mobility Smart Centre in Garstang.
