Venue Description
Experience the sights, stories and atmosphere of over two thousand years of exhilarating history. Fourteen rooms to see, and a collection of over 2000 pieces including arms and armour, porcelain, furniture and artwork. The stunning centre piece is the King’s Hall, a spectacular example of Victorian architecture. The Armstrong and Aviation Artefacts Museum houses a variety of artefacts spanning both World Wars as well as others relating to Lord Armstrong’s empire.

Toilets
There are two accessible toilets - one inside the state rooms and one at the toilet block by the stables. These are unisex toilets. The width of the accessible toilet door is 77cm (2ft 6in). Floor manoeuvring space is clear in the accessible toilet. There is a lateral transfer space. There are grab rails by the toilets.
