Venue Description

Balgedie Lodge is a lovely little cottage in the heart of Scotland with stunning views of Loch Leven, near Kinross. It has 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 single) and so can comfortably sleep 5, although an extra bed can be provided on request. There are two bathrooms (one is an ensuite wet room to the master bedroom and the other is a family bathroom), a very well equipped kitchen, a cost sitting room and a gorgeous sunroom. The cottage is all on one level. It has been recently renovated, has beautiful interiors and has disabled access throughout. The cottage is also pet friendly. There is a pretty cottage garden at the front and a large enclosed garden at the back where dogs can run and play safely.

Accessibility

We have a ramp to the front door and inside the cottage there are no steps or changes of levels. There is a wetroom/shower room ensuite to the master bedroom that is wheelchair accessible. We also proved a shower chair if required. The family bathroom has a bath with over head shower and we can provide a bath seat for that too if needed.

Toilets

The wetroom shower is designed to be wheelchair accessible. It has wide doors, easy turn handles and locks, and grab rails by the shower and toilet.

Staff

We have a housekeeper who will meet you on arrival to make sure you have all you need and are comfortable in the space. She is also on call should you need any help during your stay.

We are a pet friendly property and so dogs are most welcome. There is a large enclosed garden for dogs to enjoy too. There is a dog fee for pets of 25 GBP however assistance dogs are FOC.
