Venue Description

Found in the heart of Aylesbury just a stone’s throw from the town’s beautiful Market Square, Aylesbury Waterside Theatre boasts the best in entertainment from drama to dance, opera to comedy, and must-see musicals and live concerts. With shows to appeal to all tastes and ages, a visit to the Waterside makes the perfect escape for a mid-week or weekend treat. You can feel confident of first class entertainment in a luxury setting. The venue also contains the Norman Bragg Studio, which hosts regular Comedy Clubs, as well as other family entertainment, live shows, and screenings (including Dementia Friendly Screenings of classic movies and musicals). With ample parking in the immediate area and the railway station just a 5 minute walk away linking Aylesbury to London Marylebone, the venue is ideally located for you to enjoy a hassle-free visit.

Audio Described, British Sign Language Interpreted, Captioned, and Relaxed performances are offered on selected shows. The theatre has an infra-red hearing system in the main auditorium. A limited number of headsets are available from the hatch under the main staircase. Assistance dogs are welcome in the theatre, please inform the Box Office at time of booking. Dogs can sit with you if you book an end of row or theatre staff will be happy to look after them for the duration of the performance. The theatre has a stair-free ground floor level from the entrance through to the Box Office, Stalls Bar, and the Stalls Row R, with a lift to the Circle 1, Circle 2 and the Norman Bragg Studio levels. There are eight wheelchair positions with companion seats, six in the Stalls and two in Circle 1 (additional wheelchair positions can be added in Circle1 slips for gig shows) and wheelchair positions are available in the Norman Bragg Studio for events / shows taking place there.
