Venue Description
Artrix is a live entertainment venue based in Bromsgrove in the outskirts of Birmingham. Our hugely varied programme includes classical, folk, rock, blues and pop music, comedy, dance, theatre and cinema. The Artrix gallery offers a monthly exhibition programme of challenging new work. We welcome people with disabilities and are committed to ensuring your visit is enjoyable. A new and welcome recent addition to the venue has been the Artrix Cafe which offers hot and cold drinks, snacks and lunches. The sliding doors and flat floor access to the Cafe and the outside patio make this a popular spot for disabled visitors who can also take the lift up to the Artrix Gallery and have a look around. The Artrix Café is open: Monday 9am - 2.30pm and Tuesday-Saturday 10am - 2.30pm.Accessibility
We have level access in the main foyer, adapted toilets, and an induction loop system. Wheelchair spaces are available on the ground floor and in the side galleries via a lift. These positions are held off general sale. To book please contact the box office on 01527 577330.
Accessible Performances
Some of our film screenings are subtitled for the hard of hearing and we also offer some relaxed screenings. We have previously programmed performances that use mime and BSL. We have programmed shows from various accessible performance companies including Vamos and The Bone Ensemble.
