Venue Description

Arran Apartments is a 1 bedroom holiday home described as "a home from home " by our visitors. Enjoy panoramic views of Lamlash Bay from the house and extensive decking. It suitable for assisted wheelchair users or visitors who experience mobility challenges.When the house was converted to a holiday cottage, care was taken to ensure that Category 2 Accessibility ( Visit Scotland) was complied with and certified for. The house sleeps 2 but an additional bed or cot can be provided as required.

Accessibility

There is ramped access from the parking space to level decking leading to low threshold main door. The house is all at ground level.

Toilets

The bathroom has level access and space to turn a wheelchair. A raised seat or toilet frame can be provided. A grab rail has been fitted at the bath and a bath chair can be provided if required. Lever taps are fitted.

The beach is about 500m away downhill. However assistance dogs can have full use of the garden with supervision. The decking is gated and dogs can be in a secure outdoor area.
