Venue Description

AMC Cinemas Manchester is a 16 screen multiplex in the heart of the historic Great Northern Warehouse building. We screen a range of product from the latest blockbusters, independent film, Live theatre and more. With the ability to screen subtitled, audio descript and induction loops system in our screens we offer a range of services. AMC has a games arcade in the entrance foyer and there are restaurant, bar and entertainment facilities all within the Great Northern. We offer full accessibility around all of our site. Building entrance - lift, ramp and/or step access depending on the entrance level Cinema entrance - steps & lift access Inside the cinema foyer - steps & lift access Inside screens - stadium seating with spaces for wheelchair users at mid-section, with companion seating adjacent. Induction loop system in all screens. Assistance dogs are welcome within AMC Cinemas and The Great Northern Development. All car parks with lift and step access.

Accessible Performances

AMC provides autism friendly screenings and subtitled screenings each month. All screenings are compatible with induction loop systems. Audio description is available on select screenings

Toilets

Our accesible bathrooms are available on both the upper and lower foyers - with grab rails, easy turn taps and locks. There is also an alarm system in each bathroom in case assistance is required or an emergency.

Staff

All of our management team and full time staff are first aid and defibrilator trained.
