Venue Description

Since 2002 Alternative Camp(s) have been hosting PWD free of charge. Based on international volunteering, short-mid-long-term this year 1700 youngsters have applied to be volunteer by using NonBiasForm of AC. Full of outdoor activities such as swimming, scuba diving (under HSA standards; www.hsascuba.com), horse riding, climbing, orienteering, trekking, biking, other regular games. Each week has different social theme aligning with SDGs. AC is one of the very first initiatives of AYDER (Alternative Life Association.) www.ayder.org.tr The projects of AYDER are like a part of a social impact chain. They all related to each other and keep their selves sustainable. "Diving is Freedom", Alternative Camp, Dreams Academy, Social Inclusion Band, MUME Music House, EyLAB, Sesimelim app, Sortyapp, Dreams Kitchen can be mentioned, and they are all ongoing for many years. Alternative Camp has been hosting international organizations dealing with PWD. Fully accessible and inclusive.

TSL ( Turkish Sign Language ) is a common knowledge among staff, we have CODA trainers, members aswell and we have developed a TSL learning mobile app ;https://www.sesimelim.com/ All staff and volunteers get special training on " How to approach to PWD , Golden rules " designed by AYDER.
