Alpacaly Ever After is a social enterprise that rehome and rescue alpacas & llamas from across the UK as well as providing outstanding alpaca and llama experiences accessible to all, surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District World Heritage Site. Our Mission: To provide alpacas and llamas in our care with the best possible lives and the utmost care. To offer a welcoming new home for life, for unwanted alpacas and llamas from all over the UK. To provide people with hugely enjoyable and unique alpaca & llama experiences that are accessible to all. To immerse our guests in the beauty of the Lake District World Heritage Site and to introduce the benefits of walking to a new generation of diverse visitors. To share our knowledge about these fascinating species. To be an innovative and environmentally conscious enterprise. We offer Private Alpaca Walking as well as Meet The Alpacas sessions at The Lingholm Estate in Portinscale, Keswick. We also have a Meet The Alpacas session at The Lakes Distillery in Bassenthwaite. Both activities are suitable for people with disabilities or mobility issues including wheel chair users. Toilets
The Lingholm Estate has a disabled toilet in their large cafe situated 50 yards from the disabled car park, all on level access. The cafe is located centrally on site and easy to access from our activity points. The Lakes Distillery has public toilets located on the ground floor with level access. 3 men's toilets, 3 women's toilets and 2 disabled unisex toilets. Toilet height is 400ml/ 15.7 inches. A wide lightweight door is on the disabled toilet, there are vertical rails on either side of the toilet.
Staff
There is always one member of our staff on site who has outdoor first aid training. Our staff are also due to take part in disability awareness training.

Alpacas and dogs don't tend to mix very well so unfortunately we don't allow them on our activities.
