No concept of customer service for accessibilty needs

Overview
Whilst food provided value for money, staff had no concept of how to provide customer service to someone with a disability. My husband uses a wheelchair so the level entrance was perfect. We were ignored at the entrance for a good 5 mins (staff looked at us but were too busy chatting to acknowledge us). Then directed right through the busy restaurant to the back. Removed a chair so my husband could get the wheelchair under and walked away without checking if suitable. For comfort, my husband likes to transfer out of his wheelchair, so we asked another member of staff if we could move to the table behind us which had a bench and more stability to all my husband to transfer. There was already a family in the area finishing up their meal. The member of staff went to check with someone else and she returned to inform us that this section was not open..it was literally one table away!! So my husband had to stay in his wheelchair, uncomfortable and eat his meal. As were were put at the back of the restaurant we had to weave our way out. Food was ok, value for money. Such a shame a very simple request was disregarded with no real explanation. Will never return.

Right next to the Gate shopping centre parking available but we didnt use

Level entry however once in staff let themselves down

There was a sign but couldnt see where it was. I believe it was on the ground floor
