Transport & Parking

Marygate car park is around 200 yards away with plenty of disabled bays. There is a private road leading to the offices, but to reach the front entrance, there is gravel.

Access

There is a ramp kept inside the doorway which can be fitted to the front entrance to allow easier access. The front entrance has a step up, and the paving outside the building has deteriorated. However the road leading up to this area is paved evenly. Inside the building in the main meeting room, there is a sloped floor from the entranceway to the main area of the room. The furniture can be easily moved to accommodate people that use a mobility aid.

Toilets

There is an accessible lavatory on the ground floor. This has a rail to the left side, and a drop down rail to the right side. There is room to one side of the lavatory to help facilitate transfers. The lavatory itself is raised to help transfers.

Staff

The staff at MESMAC are well trained to help facilitate access to the building, and a friendly and knowledgeable.
