Transport & Parking

In the centre of York, there is on street parking with blue badge. Nearby bus stops and not far from the trainstation (10 min walk)

Access

Very easy to get in, lots of space, wide doorway and built in ramp access. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a friendly member of staff. I asked to use the toilet and get a take away cup of tea, the man showed me where the toilet was and offered to remove the baby changing table but I still fit in. There was plenty of space for me to move around, I did transfer into one of the seats at the table.

Toilets

As mentioned above, staff were helpful and offered to remove the changing table but it was fine. Easy to get in and out, very clean and tidy. There was a red cord next to the toilet hanging to the floor, everything was easy to access. There were grab rails.

Staff

Brilliant staff! The young man (wish I’d got his name!) was just the best. We went back the next day to sit in and he remembered exactly how I liked my tea, was super friendly and helpful. He was very understanding getting and in all his assistance he didn’t make me feel like I was any bother.

I’d 100% recommend this place. They make their own chocolate and it was amazing! The place is beautiful, staff are fab and the accessibility was ideal
