Overview

I have a panic disorder which means that I have difficulty with being in open spaces and sometimes I can't access open spaces unless a closed in space like a toilet or a car is near by. I was really wanting to check out Secret Base but I was nervous that I would have a panic attack if I didn't have an enclosed space to access. I emailed Abigail who works at the Secret base and explained my unique disability to her. She was awesome and really helpful. I was able to participate fully in the car tour as she insured that my dad could park the car near where was speaking so I can be near the car and hear her. This really helped as I felt really comfortable knowing that I could stay near the car. I was unsure about entering the museum from the front as I knew by the photos that the toilet was at the back of the mueseum from the photos of the mueseum I saw. Abigail was really understanding and let me enter through the back door. She also said that I could go into the staff room if I needed a break. She was fantastic and went really above and beyond with accommodating my unique disability. I strongly recommend visiting Secret Base in Charleville.
