Overview
All the activities were flooded out by people who went in groups. I went as a disabled singleton and could not get on ANY of the activities - every time I tried, the room was full of a group from somewhere and I just couldn't get a chance to do anything. I spent most of my time sitting in the cafeteria with a diet Coke! Had this problem last year too - PLEASE make these things more singleton friendly! Bad day for me, seemed great for all the others. 2 stars for the cafeteria - it was clean (but overpriced!)
Transport & Parking
Nearest bus stop just down the road.
Access
Everything seemed accessible but I'm not in a wheelchair. The access to the actual activities if you were not part of a group - totally pathetic. I never got to do ANYTHING all day. Went to another venue, had exactly the same problem - only groups get good access to events. Awful.
Toilets
Loos were great - no complaints there. Clean, paper present, good lighting.
Staff
Nope, everyone kept telling me to come back, all the events were fully taken up by groups, no room for a singleton. I never got to do anything, I could've done trampolining but it messes up my balance when I stop! Everything else, fully booked all the time I was there. Complete waste of time going if you're on your own.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Sure there are improvements to make, Make room for singletons. Not everyone comes in a group with a handful of helpers. Some of us make our own way. We don't want to be treated as third-class citizens just because we're not part of a club. I thought I'd get to do SOMETHING during the day besides drink a can of Coke!
