Peter Rabbit and Friends
Visit date:
Overview
LOVED this place! We were only there a couple of hours but could definitely spend a day here. Disabled access has definitely been thought about when visiting the farm & engaging with the animals. Meet & great and shows accessible too. Loved meeting Peter Rabbit in person and watching the characters in the show! Will definitely be coming back!
Transport & Parking
Drove and there was blue badge parking. Public transport would be a bit of a nightmare I think as it's in the middle of the countryside.
Access
The majority of the farm is step free with solid paths with "small, dusty, gravel" top layer. There were ramps where there needed to me and lowered basins for washing hands after touching animals. We were with a small child who could be lifted on to the rides and the tractor - not sure if there is a way to make these more accessible? There are also adventure playgrounds that we didn't check out due to age - again not sure how accessible they would be?
Toilets
Fabulous loos dotted around the place - clean tidy and keeping with the themes! Didn't see a Changing Places loo which I was surprised about - but there could have been one and I didn't notice it.
Staff
Really helpful and enthusiastic - also the ones that we encountered in relation to animals all knew their stuff!
