Overview

Tralee is beautiful and is a perfect base to explore oban and the surrounding area of the west highlands. The chalet is owned by mnd scotland and is suitable for people with power chairs and other access needs.

Transport & Parking

Not sure about public transport access but no problem parking in the dedicated parking space outside the chalet.

Access

The chalet was ideal for a power wheelchair user like me. There is a track hoist in the bedroom so bring your sling if you need to use it. It may worth bringing your shower chair depending how much support you need.

Toilets

Very good bathroom which suited my needs very well. It may be worth bringing your shower chair depending on your needs.

Staff

The mnd scotland staff are fantastic and seem to make a big effort to make sure people who use the chalet have a good trip.

Would definitely recommend it. It's a stunning area and this chalet enables people to enjoy it.
