Overview
We stopped at Whitstable Harbour after getting a recommendation from a pal. It was perfect for a mooch around some really interesting stalls including art and more. There are also several places to grab some food including Fish and Chips, Lobster Roll - and of course some Whitstable Oysters. It was all on the same level and a definite highlight was seeing a Changing Places toilet - will definitely be coming back!
Transport & Parking
We found parking a bit tricky - purely due to the volume of people that were obviously in Whitstable the day we visited. When we did find a spot though it was near the Harbour and it turned out to be very convenient!
Access
Overall we were impressed with the accessibility here. It's a concrete surface that has 'bumps' where it has previously been laid in sections but it was pretty flat. There were lots of smaller huts selling things ranging from fabulous paintings to crabbing buckets! There are lots of diffferent places to get a bite to eat - most of these are stalls that you can take away from and sit on the harbour wall or communual seating. There are a couple of bigger places that we saw that were more 'sit down' restaurants but we didn't check those out.
Toilets
There are public toilets that visitors to the Harbour can use. We didn't need to use the loo - but were delighted to see a Changing Places sign!! Totally unexpected... We will definitely be recommending Whitstable Harbour as a place to visit now...
