Overview
Overall access rating very low because of the toilet and staff situation - see below.
Transport & Parking
Lots of buses start and stop here. Only buses - the nearest step-free stations (to platform only, not to train) are Wood Lane (Hammersmith & City Line) and Shepherd's Bush (Overground only - the Central Line is not step free) and they're quite a distance away.
Access
Leaving aside the toilet issue, access is good, with modern pavements, tactile paving at road crossings, pedestrian crossings with traffic lights. Bus ramps deploy well in this environment, assuming the ramps themselves are modern and smooth, which is not always the case.
Toilets
There is an accessible or 'disabled' toilet at the bus station. But on several occasions I have found it double-locked, i.e. by means of a second lock in addition to the Radar key lock. This renders my Radar key useless. There is a sign on the door saying if you need help contact a member of staff. The help and information booth is a few feet away but it has always been closed & unstaffed whenever I've been there, so I have NEVER been able to get into the disabled toilet. On the most recent occasion this meant that I wet myself. I was angry.
Staff
Zero stars, because I have never managed to locate any staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I have my doubts about the legality of the toilet situation, given that the ordinary ladies' and gents' toilets are unlocked and freely available.
