My idea of hell

Overview
We started at the abbey which is accessible but costs nearly £10.00 each ti get in, so we didn't. The town was so crowded and the streets narrow and cobbled so I was in everyone's way.
Transport & Parking
I think we had the last parking space (not disabled) we drove around and around until we found one at the furthest point from the town. Parking at the abbey was okay but the way to the town from there was down a flight of steep steps.
Access
Narrow cobbled streets with pavement not wide enough for a wheelchair. There were cars using the road occasionally so it was very difficult to get out of the way. So crowded there was no way I could get into the shops in the main street.
Toilets
I didn't even attempt to find and use a toilet.
Staff
At the abbey the man was not interested in us and tried to get us to join English Heritage. I was not impressed with his attitude
