Overview
I had called ahead from Scotland before we got here as I knew that Chinatown can be fairly inaccessible so wanted to make sure there was somewhere we could go for a toilet. I was assured by the guy I spoke to on the phone that it was a small step at the front entrance and a toilet that a wheelchair user could use. Neither of these things were the case. The only saving grace was the pint was really good and the staff that were working apologised for the misinformation. We definitely wouldn't go back!
Transport & Parking
We walked here so not sure about transport links.
Access
The reason for the half star is that once you are in it's flat, but that's where it ends. It had a tall step to bump Pauls wheelchair up and an extremely heavy door, had we known there were no disabled toilets we wouldn't of bothered. Once inside they had booths but only for people who were eating so, as we were only in for a pint, we were directed over to a high table with high chairs. So we sat at completely different levels while we had our pint.
Toilets
It was far to narrow for a wheelchair to fit into. It also had a sink in it that you would have to squeeze past. Completely unusable!
Staff
The star is because when I spoke to them about the toilets they were very apologetic, but it was a little too little, too late.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
If you're a wheelchair user give this place a miss!
