Overview
We had a brilliant day at the Weston Rotary Club Dog Show. This was the second year we have attended. There were loads of competitions to enter my dog in and lots of have-a-go stalls. Loved spinning the wheel for Weston hospice care and tried our hand at dog agility with the lovely people from green pastures vets.
Transport & Parking
We went by car. Parking is mainly on street. There are pay and display bays on the seafront and free parking on the back roads. The event itself didn’t have parking. There are loads of local busses that stop nearby.
Access
The show is on the grass but it is flat and easy to navigate. I was using my manual wheelchair and had no issues. I saw others with crutches and scooters.
Toilets
There were 4 toilets in the event. These were port-a-loo’s. 3 were standard size and one was a disabled toilet. Just over the road is the Tropicana which has a changing places toilet and more standard loos.
Staff
Everyone was lovely and we even met the President of the rotary club who came and chatted and asked if there was anything we needed and made sure we were having a great day.
