Watch ‘PASSING’, a new short film by visually impaired artist Jo Bannon. You’ll see Augusto, a sleight of hand magician, and Sindri, a visually impaired dancer, as they unveil the magic of their hands and movements. Guided by Jo’s offbeat humour and ongoing fascination with objects, ‘PASSING’ beckons you to peek behind a pink velvet curtain.

The film explores the ways in which we all perform - on stage and in everyday life. It experiments with sensory modes of seeing, including ASMR sound design and close -up choreographies to disrupt the primacy of the visual sense.

The film is 15 minutes long and will show continually throughout the day. You can drop in and out at any time. This is the audio described version of the film, and sound will be through wireless headphones.

‘Sleight of Hand - One to One’ performance
Jo Bannon will be performing live at Wellcome Collection on 16 November. Her unique one-to-one performance is 45 minutes long and there will only be 18 shows on the day. You can find out more and book a time-slot on the event page.
