Great place to stay

Overview
Stayed here to visit nearby family. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was amazing and the disabled access was great. The food was good and arrived quickly and piping hot. And, best of all, double sockets on both sides of the bed with additional USB ports. I would definitely stay here again and it is well placed for anyone wanting to visit the Norfolk Broads.
Transport & Parking
I arrived in my car and, at check in, was directed to disabled parking adjacent to a ramp to get to my room
Access
The main building is accessed by a ramp and a further ramp leads into the restaurant. I stayed in a garden room behind the hotel on higher ground accessed by a gentle ramp. The room is huge with plenty of room to use my mobility walker round both sides of the comfortable double bed. I could also use it in the bathroom and think that my mobility scooter could also have been used with room to spare. There is a walk in shower with one grab handle but I found the shower tray quite slippery. This is not classified as an accessible room so there is no seat in the shower and no pull cords anywhere. I also found the toilet a bit low. I believe there is one ground floor accessible room in the main building.
Toilets
Staff
Helpful and friendly staff. They gave good information about access when I rang up to enquire about a suitable room. They were considerate of my mobility problems without making it seem an issue
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Hardly any staff (or customers) wore masks. Social distancing was observed by the table spacing in the restaurant.
