Tape measure access

Overview
Horrible shop to get around, they have stuffed all the spaces between shelving with tables and stands, scraped both side of my wheelchair getting through any gaps and could not get to large parts of the store or turn around. I have used the term tape measure access to explain places like this, almost like someone has gone around with a tape measure saying "We have been told the average wheelchair requires 660 mm, so we will make each space 661 mm wide" but i am not an average wheelchair user, i do not know one who is, if an average car is 1500 mm wide to they make all garages and parking spaces 1501 mm wide? No, but this waterstones thinks along those lines, i felt crowded and stressed the entire time and left without the purchase i wanted, i went to smith which is only slightly better but still better, a scooter would not have gotten round!
Transport & Parking
Parking can be a problem, but then it is a shop in the middle of a pedestrian precinct of a holiday town, so parking always a problem
Access
there is an excellent lift, fits several people plus wheelchair, but it is just very hard to get to the doors of the lift and could not get out on the first floor as a display was right in front of the doors
Toilets
no toilets
Staff
