A lovely swimming pool which also has lane swimming, exercise classes, swimming lessons as well as public swimming. Has a retractable roof - perfect for warm days. New sauna with great views over the large adjacent duck pond.

Transport & Parking

Near a main bus route and not far from the bus station, train station and hovercraft terminal. Next to the beach with plenty of public parking including disabled spaces. Blue badge holders park free.

Automatic doors to entrance. Flat access. High counter but staff very helpful Hard to open non automatic inner doors Accessible changing room next to entrance/exit for ease of use Easy access steps into the pool - graduated, low incline wide steps, double handrails. Seating around the pool Permanently placed pool hoist available.

Pool water kept at constant warm temperature - usually 28/29 degrees Centigrade The toilet/changing room is fully accessible. Large size with large roll in/flat access shower. 2 well placed textured handrails, easy grip shower control. Shower chair with non slip feet, backrest and arms. Emergency cord (there is also one next to the loo). Fully recommended.
