Country pub in the New Forest - ideal for a Sunday lunch

Overview
Popular Country pub serving proper British food. The pub is busy and we were lucky to get a table last minute and thrilled to hear it was wheelchair friendly with an Accessible WC! The 17th Century thatched pub did not look accessible on arrival but there is a carpark to the rear with more space; one disabled space which only had a railway sleeper on it but it still worked. Mini ramp up the curb - grass carpet from carpark to garden marquee - gentle slope to wide doors leading directly to the restaurant. Good space and ideal table heights but I would recommend booking to ensure you get a suitable table. Food was just what we needed after a long walk in the forest, excellent service
