Overview
The Warwick University Arts Centre is a fully accessible venue with a cinema, theatre, concert hall, art gallery, bookshop and a cafe, restaurant and bar. It offers a wide range of entertainment catering for a diverse range of tastes. Classical music, folk and rock concerts, comedy, theatre, lectures, and a full programme of films. Information is readily available on their website. The centre also has an art gallery and a good bookshop. Coffee and food is available throughout the day and into the evening. The ticketing policy allows a carer/companion to attend the venue free of charge. We are frequent visitors and we have seen some fantastic music and performance here. It is a great venue for ease of access
Transport & Parking
There is ample disabled parking in the multi story car park adjacent to the venue and additional parking is made available outside the centre on busy nights when they have big names performing
Access
The centre is fully accesible in all areas via ramps or lifts. The public spaces are large and easy to negotiate.
Toilets
The accesible loos are large with plenty of room for a wheelchair and a carer. They are plentiful and clearly signed. We have always found them to be clean and tidy.
Staff
Staff are pleasant and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We use the Arts Centre regularly. It is a very pleasant place to attend a concert or play or take in a movie. They have created a very accessible venue.
