Overview
The Caledonian’s heritage as a former railway hotel was fully on display. With two accessible rooms out of its two hundred and forty-one it was impressive.
Transport & Parking
The hotel has its own car park. Public transport is widely available with a taxi rank outside the main entrance. Trams and buses plying their way along nearby Princes Street.
Access
Access in and around the building: The building is large but staff were very helpful in showing me the way around. Access in the accessible bedrooms and bathrooms: The accessible bedrooms were spacious and bright and cheerful. Access in the dining area: There were several options for dining and all were bright and light. Access to other facilities: The hotel has a spa facility.
Toilets
There were two accessible toilets off of Peacock Alley.
Staff
The staff we met were great. With great conversation and a feeling of belonging it was a fantastic experience.
