Overview
A visit to Wakefield Cathedral
Transport & Parking
I drove there, and parking was in the nearby shopping centre. If I had been more organised I could have booked a parking space right outside, which would have saved a push up the slope.
Access
Level access from the South Entrance that was clearly marked. Some lovely touches, like the ramps were made from stone and decorated to match the steps, with a brass handrail. These were not an afterthought.
Toilets
There is one in the Treacy Hall (modern hall adjacent to the Cathedral) but I didn’t use it, so can’t comment.
