Overview
Wahaca serves incredible Mexican street food on the banks of the Thames in shipping containers. By far one of the most interesting architectural restaurants and the views are simply breathtaking, as is the food. At first glance, it looks as if you would not be able to get to the restaurant as it is up a level, however, there is a nearby elevator to take you to the most interesting venue of the Southbank. Friendly, accommodating staff coupled with unbelievably flavoursome, delicious food made for a wonderful experience. I have been twice now and I have enjoyed each visit thoroughly.
Transport & Parking
There are tube stations nearby, as there is parking on street, however if you were walking and you had issues with mobility this is maybe not the best venue for you. If you use a wheelchair a power chair however this is ideal.
Access
With the nearby lift to the venue, access is simple.
Toilets
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet, which is easily accessed, and has ample room.
Staff
The staff are really friendly and are more than happy to accommodate wheelchair users.
