Overview

It's in the Eden shopping center so you've either parked in the multistorey or arrived by bus at the bus station which is practically next door. Totally level access apart from the lip of the door frame which is negotiable in a manual wheelchair. All seating is on long tables so you will find yourself in close proximity with other diners but it is casual dining after all.

Transport & Parking

Loads of disabled parking in the nearby multistore. There's also a nearby road with about six disabled bays which are limited to three hour stays. Food service is quick so you'll easily be in and out in that time unless you get sidetracked by the shops.

Access

Small lip to negotiate which is also on a slight uphill ramp, but I manage it in my manual wheelchair and I'm not the most able bodied wheelchair user. I've never needed staff help but I'm sure they'd help if you needed it. Inside there are two tables that have moveable benches (the rest are fixed) and the staff's eyes always go to those tables once they clock the wheelchair. If those tables are busy then you'll wait in line like everyone else but I've known the staff to ask the guests to move over if there's plenty of free spaces elsewhere. The tables are higher than normal.

Toilets

One disabled toilet which doubles as a baby changing station. It's kept locked and fairly clean and the staff have a radar key if you don't. I've been there loads and never had to wait so don't be put off by the fact that you're sharing it with parents.

Staff

It's fst casual dining so the staff are very attentative to make sure you eat in good time with limited waiting. Food comes at different times but it all arrives less than ten minutes after ordering

Anything else you wish to tell us?

If you've not eaten at a Wagamamas before be prepared for something a bit different. Service is quick and you get food as soon as it's ready which is normally fairly quick - some people will be eating before others but that's the way it is. Chopsticks or a knife, fork or spoon if you want.
