Overview
When you enter it's quite a heavy glass door. There's a flight of stairs with a platform lift to the left. A member of staff will get the key to operate the lift for you.
Transport & Parking
It's central and on Lothian Road so accessible via bus and a short roll from the tram stop either Shandwick or Princes Street. There is now a drop curb just in front of it with perhaps a couple of centimeters in height which makes accessibility much better than it used to be.
Access
Platform lift to the left of the door. Only thing that would have made it more accessible would be to have a level entrance. There are the trademark benches of Wagamamas which are slightly too high for me. There are lower tables which I prefer but hard to get if it's really busy. Also window booths but definitely not an accessible option if staying in chair.
Toilets
Quite small but there is an emergency cord. Tiled flooring which doesn't help much if you're unstable on your feet or it's wet. Easy lock and doesn't require a radar key. It does double as a changing room and folk do use it instead of going down a flight of stairs to the other toilets. There's an exterior door and then a door into the toilet. The space crested by this is used as storage for high chair so can get a bit cluttered and limit your turning circle.
Staff
Staff are well trained and friendly. They're happy to help get a colleague if they can't operate the lift themselves.
